USB won't work because of the LOT number (although I haven't tested it yet). Do I have to select one of the "NT Link" modes? I don't have access to any special Omron cards/boards. In that case which communication mode should I assign to the PT port? Only "Modem" mode can have a baud rate of 115200, "Memory Link" is not for transferring project data and "Host Link" has max 19200 baud rate. Easiest and simplest method seems to be the serial connection, but the CX-Designer software sets the baud rate to 115200 and does not let me change it. I can't quite understand how to connect my computer to the panel. Also somewhere in manuals I saw the "Transfer Memory Card" function.
Only software with upload capabilities I've found is CX-Designer, but maybe there is a better choice for my goal? I've heard of NT-series Support Tool but it won't work with NS series. I'd like to know if there is a similar tool for Omron NS-series PTs? Ability to modify the files is not as important as the ability to take a replacement panel, restore all of the data and be back on track in no time without (or with minimal) programming/parametrization.
